The Luck Factor

Why do some people believe in the paranormal? Is it sometimes good to be irrational? Does luck really exist? How do lucky people think and behave? Can people really learn to be lucky?

For this evening’s special event we are delighted to have Prof. Richard Wiseman, experimental psychologist, best-selling author and professional magician, giving for the first time a public lecture in Copenhagen on the psychology behind belief systems, the paranormal and the sense of being lucky.

Why do some people lead happy successful lives whilst others face repeated failure and sadness? Why are some people always in the right place at the right time, while others are always unlucky?

Over many years, Prof. Wiseman has been working with some of the world’s luckiest and unluckiest people to answer these fascinating questions. Discover the result of his work and find out how it can change the way you live your life.

Later, chilled and lucky cocktails being served at the bar.

This lecture takes place at KU’s forårsfestival and entrance is admitted only to students and staff of the University of Copenhagen. This event is organised in cooperation with University of Copenhagen.
